Breath Taking and Yoga in the Park is proud to be hosting
Leslie Kaminoff (co-author of Yoga Anatomy) in Sorrento
Thursday, 15 March 2018 –
Sorrento Historic Park 9am -12pm
A three hour session outdoors including a 90 minute asana class followed by 90 minutes of open discussion.
Vinyasa Breath Flow in the tradition of Desikachar
The yoga of T.K.V. Desikachar brings central focus to the relationship of breath to movement. Leslie will teach a flowing sequence emphasising use of breath cueing to achieve alignment and safety objectives, while leaving room for personal adaptation and modification. The sequence itself will provide full range of motion to the spine, as well as strength to the legs and feet and freedom to the breath.
A Talk in the Park
The practice will be followed by 90 minutes of interactive questions and answers, as well as discussion of how to modify practice for individual concerns.
- Mats will be available should you not have access to one.
- Bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Plus a notepad and pen if you’re a note-taker.

Venue: Sorrento Historic Park
The wonderful Historic Park (est 1870) is located at the bay-end of Hotham Rd. Plenty of parking between the Sorrento Hotel and Sorrento Police Station. When you enter the park - look for us under a tree, just behind the police station. If you're wandering around the park, and can't see us, head north toward the water then turn right. We'll be in the NE corner.
